This Chambolle combines elegance with structure on the palate. Very complex bouquet, combining liquorice, floral and spicy notes. It is ideally enjoyed after 4 or 5 years’ patient cellar-ageing.
Vines planted in 1948, 1953, 1964, and 1988. Covering a surface area of 49 ares, bordering the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation.
Domaine Hubert Lignier (formerly Hubert Lignier & Fils and also known as Hubert et Laurent Lignier) is a high-level family-run domaine in Burgundy, producing both red and white wines. The estate is located in Morey-Saint-Denis in the Côte de Nuits subregion, and is best known for its Pinot Noir wines from the vineyard Clos de la Roche Grand Cru.
