2010 Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1. Cru
France / Bordeaux / Medoc / Haut-Medoc / Pauillac 1. Cru Rouge
A splendid sequel to 2009, it is sure to become an outstanding year in the long history of fine Bordeaux wine. The wine is a dark and intense red. With Cabernet Sauvignon predominant, 2010 Château Mouton Rothschild 1st Grand Cru Classé displays a complex range of aromas. From lightly toasted vanilla notes, the nose opens with airing to develop fruit aromas, especially blackcurrant and black cherry. The attack shows great complexity, while powerful and well-integrated tannins reveal exceptional depth and roundness. A fresh and mineral finish rounds off this highly elegant wine. Mouton Rothschild 2010 stands out for its remarkable length and harmony.
