2013 Château La Pointe has a nice deep colour for this vintage. The disc is a beautiful purple and the robe brilliant.
The first nose brings plenty of fresh black fruit and a touch of cherry stone.
The mouth is generously round and ample whilst remaining fresh and most palatable.
Primeurs tasting comments by Hubert de Boüard de Laforest (March 2014): “This wine boasts a deep colour for the vintage, with a bright purple rim. The nose opens up with an explosion of fresh black fruits and a little cherry stone. The palate is rich, round and generous yet also really fresh and succulent. This is a classic vintage with an elegant and well-balanced style”.

85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc.
