An equally ripe yet slightly fresher nose blends notes of spice, pepper, and earth with those of red currant, plum, and a very subtle suggestion af wood. There is even better verve to the seductively textured, if not especially dense, medium-bodied flavors that possess evident minerality, all wrapped in sappy, lingering, dusty, and youthfully austere finish that is the most structured in the range.
