At the bottom of the Beaux-Monts vineyard's slope, bordering the Grand Cru vineyards of Echézeaux, stand Cacheux's vines, which for nearly 70 years have brought this exceptional 1er Cru wine to life.
 
Domaine René Cacheux et Fils Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux-Monts presents itself with a ruby-red color and a bouquet of wild black forest berries, a hint of oak, and a pleasant spicy sensation. 
The taste is medium-bodied, concentrated, and rounded. 
There is a lovely coolness to the wine, which balances beautifully with aromas of wild blackberries and prunes. 
The generous aromatic expressions provide a broad flavor profile on the palate, leading to a very pleasant and lingering aftertaste.
 
Vinification:
Manual harvest and sorting.
100% destemmed.
Open tank fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Punching down.
 
Ageing:
Oak barrel-ageing for 18 months (50% new barrels).
No fining and no filtering.
Bottled at the estate.
