Extraordinary Côtes de Nuits Villages from Georges Noëllat. In our opinion, Maxime’s best example to date.

A bouquet of raspberries, cherries, black tea, and rose petals. A beautifully fruit-driven and highly approachable Côtes de Nuits with plenty of juiciness, power, and structure.
The wine is made from grapes grown on vines planted in Brochon, the neighboring commune to Gevrey-Chambertin to the north, and in Comblanchien, the neighboring commune to Nuits-Saint-Georges to the south. This results in a fantastic blend of the northern and southern parts of the Côte de Nuits, where Brochon’s masculine depth goes hand in hand with the flavor of the salty limestone from Comblanchien, which gives the wine its firm, elegant backbone. A fantastic wine.
