Pur Chardonnay Grand Cru “La Côte” – 100% Chardonnay – Cramant & Avize – Dosage 5 g/l – 2021 harvest.
Vinified in the same style as the Pur Meunier and Pur Pinot Noir, with two-thirds in barrel and one-third in stainless steel – combining the wild complexity of barrel fermentation with the precision and freshness of steel. The wine remained on its lees until disgorgement in November 2025.
The nose is dominated by citrus fruit, crisp Granny Smith apple and fresh pear, with an acidity so vibrant you can almost sense it on the nose. Subtle notes of flint and oyster shell emerge in the background.
On the palate, the wine is driven by bright, refreshing acidity, with citrus fruit, brioche, freshly churned butter and a delicate chalky minerality.
Electric and focused, with beautiful precision and excellent potential to develop further over the coming years.
Enjoy it with shellfish, caviar or sushi – although it is equally compelling on its own, perhaps in a quiet moment at the end of a long week.
