Château d'Issan

Château d'Issan (3rd Growth) in Margaux is owned by the Cruse family, who have Danish-German origins. In 2012, Françoise and Jacky Lorenzetti joined the estate. They also own Château Lilian Ladouys (Cru Bourgeois) in Saint Estèphe and Château Pedesclaux (5th Growth) in Pauillac.
The estate's 59 hectares of vineyards are spread across 44 hectares in Margaux, 5 hectares in Haut Médoc, and 10 hectares in Bordeaux Supérieur.
Château d'Issan is one of the most beautiful châteaux in Médoc, producing approximately 125,000 bottles annually of its first wine, Château d'Issan 3rd Growth. The estate's second wine, Blason d'Issan, is crafted from younger vines. The Château d'Issan dynasty also produces the wines Moulin d'Issan and Le Haut Médoc d'Issan from adjacent plots.
