Dominique Laurent Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Rouges Vieilles Vignes is a deep and seductive Pinot Noir with an intense aromatic profile. The nose reveals dark cherries, blackcurrants, and wild berries, complemented by exotic spices, cedar, and a hint of truffle. On the palate, it is silky yet structured, with elegant tannins and a complex balance of fruit, spice, and minerality. Les Rouges vineyard is one of the higher ones in the area, lying immediately above the wider Echézeaux Grand Cru site.
Les Rouges 1er Cru wine are based entirely on Pinot Noir, and tend to be leaner and more elegant than the rich, supple wines made at lower altitudes.
