Composed of two very close climats, this wine offers aromas of red fruits, blueberries, cherries, and fully reveals itself after a few years with mineral and suave nuances.
 
Surface area: 16 acres, located in the Vignerondes and Barbières climats.
Age of the vines: 55 years, on the edge of the Sur la Velle climate.
Southeast exposure, clayey, rocky, and sandy soils.

Domaine Hubert Lignier (formerly Hubert Lignier & Fils and also known as Hubert et Laurent Lignier) is a high-level family-run domaine in Burgundy, producing both red and white wines. The estate is located in Morey-Saint-Denis in the Côte de Nuits subregion, and is best known for its Pinot Noir wines from the vineyard Clos de la Roche Grand Cru.
