Château Saint-Pierre (4th Growth) is located in Saint-Julien.

The estate's history dates back to 1693, making it one of the oldest in the Médoc region concerning viticulture. The property subsequently went through a turbulent period, during which its holdings were divided. In 1982, Henri Martin from the nearby Château Gloria (Cru Bourgeois) successfully reunited the estate under Domaines Henri Martin, as it is known today. Château Saint-Pierre is not a physical château but rather has Château Gloria as its headquarters.

On its 17 hectares, the parcels are divided into 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. The vines yield 5,000 cases of wine annually of the first wine, Château Saint-Pierre 4th Growth, and uniquely, it is one of the few classified Médoc estates without a second wine.

This is a classic dark and full-bodied wine, filled with ripe fruit, dark berries, and cedarwood. Saint-Pierre is one of those wines that remain somewhat hidden, to be discovered individually and then become a cult favorite in private circles. Younger vintages, four to eight years old, should be decanted for two to three hours, while older vintages only need to be decanted to remove sediment, allowing the wine to be served immediately after.
