Behind the church square in Pommard, one enters the courtyard of the estate. Anne Parent, one of the two sisters who own and manage the estate, always welcomes guests warmly. The other sister, Catherine Fages-Parent, resides in Paris, from where she oversees sales and marketing.
The sisters represent the 12th generation at the vineyard. In 1998, they took over from their father, Jacques Parent, and they adhere to the proud family traditions that date back to the 17th century.
Anne Parent takes the wine from the soil to the table. She is so skilled at it that she holds several leadership positions and has received several honors within the French wine world. Her experience and knowledge bring a common thread of complexity and firmness to the estate's wines, skillfully decoding the individual characteristics of each plot and bottling them.

Perhaps this unique common thread stems from the fact that it is a wise woman who understands the soils in the masculine of Côte de Beaune's two red strongholds?

Domaine Parent obtained organic certification in 2013 (ECOCERT Certification).
