2005 Château Lafite Rothschild, 1. Grand Cru Classé, leveres i originale trækasse (OWC). 
Dyb farve. En intens, delikat, subtil og kompleks næse. Meget pæn og regelmæssig på ganen ved angrebet, hvilket fører til volumen og en pænt rund struktur. Meget kraftfuld, stor længde, tæt og rent elegant.

"Initially dense, almost black enough to be attacked with a knife. But then it becomes apparent that this is a beautifully integrated, balanced wine, bringing together power, with the hallmark Lafite style and poise. In the end, you have a wine that promises an impressive aging potential along with delicious black currant fruits, acidity and a layer of striking tannins. Imported by Domaines Barons de Rothschild and multiple U.S. importers".

On the nose somewhat restrained roasted aromas, delicate roasted plum, inviting berry confit, orange zest, fine tobacco nuances, smoky, cedary savouriness. On the palate dark berry fruit, cherry, vivid tannins, which are well integrated, but at the same time still demanding, at the moment somewhat closed, sweet roasted aromas, pleasant freshness. Future potential, great, complex wine".ine".
